Playing the Victim was My Comfort Zone
“If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month.”
― Theodore Roosevelt
Today’s episode is how I stopped playing the victim and took radical responsibility for my own actions.
I tell my raw story of how I realized I was only comfortable playing the victim and how I started to unravel this with simple mindset shifts.
Here are some signs that you might be comfortable playing the victim too;
- You need attention and constant validation
- You won’t take risks for fear of failure
- You are “right” about everything
My tips and tricks for bringing myself into a higher space;
- Start taking responsibility for your life
- Be ok with not being the victim and start validating yourself instead of seeking from others
- Take action on your dreams even if that feels risky
- Practice gratitude every single day
- Forgive others and release the emotional link
Moving out of this space will not be easy, so allow yourself some grace.
